color me happy

Recently added this vintage drafting chair (curb find!) and wood stool (flea market!) to our counter island area between the kitchen and dining room. After a couple rounds with some cans of spray paint, of course.
I enjoy standing across from my daughters on school mornings, sipping coffee while watching them chow down on breakfast. Or making supper at the stove and quickly stepping over to help Big Sis with a tricky math problem during homework time. Such a small, easy fix has made quite an enjoyable difference to our home.
Following the stools, the addition of these to the counter was a no-brainer.
