Our spring break

We just went back to school after a fun, fabulous week at home. Our spring break festivities included a trip to the Zoo, a hike at our fave local state park, sleeping late, lounging around in PJ's while reading, lots and lots of yard work, long hours at the playground, a couple picnics, a birthday party, Daddy's melt-in-your-mouth pancakes, several escapades chasing a certain, lovable jack russell around the neighborhood--he's become quite adept at barreling through the smallest gap between legs at the front door, and a lovely visit from my parents.

We all had an absolutely wonderful time, and are now counting down the days until summer break.
