Hello Family, Friends & Fellow Blog Stalkers,
We have moved!
Hubby is now officially stationed as the newest tuba player and Public Affairs guy here. He is quite excited to continue his Public Affairs duties at this band, as his abilities and passion for graphic design (and it's expensive software) has continued to flourish in the last few years.
The family is thrilled with our beautiful new house (!) on post. The motto rings true: Location, location, location! Our new house is a brief walk from a lovely park, Hubby's work, a few shopping amenities, and Big Sister's new preschool (which she will attend three mornings a week). We did seriously entertain the idea of living off post, but had a somewhat disappointing search in the surrounding city. Nothing met both our needs and our budget. And then, the Post Housing Office made us an offer we just couldn't refuse: a single family home with 4 bed/2bath, a big fenced yard, back patio, garage, skylights in most rooms, etc. The Mrs. can even fit her sewing table in the large walk-in pantry, now dubbed "Mrs' Sewing Room!!" (Call her. She'll tell you all about it).
Hubby signed the papers that same day!
If that wasn't fantastic enough, Hubby's parents were down here in a flash to help him unpack our belongings before 'the girls' arrived from our vacation in Montana. It was incredibly nice of them! Thank you, again!! Once 'the girls' arrived in our new home, it only took us a couple days to finish unpacking and begin the fun stuff: decorating.
It is truly the most beautiful home we have ever lived in and we feel very fortunate to be here in our new surroundings, as well as living so close to family. There is one draw back, though: we won't ever want to move out!
A mass email already went out with our new mailing address, and our phone numbers (cellular) will remain the same.
If anyone just so happens to be in the area, we would love to meet up with you! And we will definitely be posting pictures, just as soon as we take them!

ok, so many things! so happy you guys are in az again and so happy you found a great place! walking distance to anything = better quality of life! i am excited to hear more about your life there. trips to mexico maybe? also, can't believe during this madness you managed to get me something. you amaze me. also: wow, you totally changed your blog. no idea how that works. so glad we can keep up with each other this way. i think i know more about your life than anyone else from hs/nau. :) ok, enough of me, back to your decorating!
