Our spring break Pt. 3

The girls were looking forward to spending a day at the St. Louis Zoo while in town, so our last full day we did just that.

We had not visited since the new Sea Lion Sound exhibit had been installed, and it was definitely the highlight of our day.
This particular sea lion is named Mia, and she is quite friendly and outgoing!
She even tried to nibble the girls' fingers through the glass.
We also visited with one of our favorite ladies in the entire world. The girls especially like it when Grammy invites us to eat with her in the dining facility there, because their cloth napkins are folded in a fancy manner atop the plates. Apparently, I need to step up my game with our plain ol' cloth napkins at home.
And, of course, a visit to St. Louis is simply incomplete if you haven't gotten dessert from Ted Drewe's! Even if it means eating it in the car with your winter coat on.
