Just in time for lazy spring break mornings, we discovered this fun website that teaches drawing to kids.
And during the warmer (not to be confused with just plain warm) part of our spring break, we walked from the condo where we were staying to the St. Louis Arch.
It's about a mile (?) walk, with lots of lovely architecture and sunshine to enjoy along the way. Also, the walk back usually requires a visit to the two-story Schnucks, because they give each child under 12 years of age a free delicious cookie. Kids over the age of thirty can purchase delicious cookies for 50 cents each. The girls were most excited to visit the top again, as the view during our previous trip was foiled by snow, clouds, and all around winter weather.
It's funny how these girls have trouble keeping pace en route, but I have trouble keeping up once arrived.
Elevator going up!
Little Sis was making this mama nervous; she was so excited to look out the windows, she was practically curled up like a cat on the windowsill.
Our dream is to watch our respective home teams, the Cardinals vs. Diamondbacks, face off in the new stadium before we leave the Midwest.
Big Sister was sort of excited... until our elevator down became out of order, and a whole slew of people had to wait a long time in line to catch the next ride down. Or the one after that. Or maybe the next one? She was not feeling it. She did great, though, and her efforts were rewarded with a gooey butter cookie.
