Little Sister's First Day of School

Decidedly late, but worth the wait.

Little Sis being silly before afternoon Pre-K. We enjoy our mornings together very much: snuggling, reading, homeschooling, playing at the park, Legos, snacks, a weekly ballet lesson, and many, many games of Chutes & Ladders.
Requisite front porch #1
New backpack in #2. We found a nice smaller one for our petite, little miss.
#3 A pause in the photo shoot to watch (yet another!) helicopter fly by. "Look, Mama, a chinook!"
Wearing her special fancy shoes and socks for school in #4.
#5 Walking our darling, little baby big girl to her first day of school.
Digging her new Pre-K playground in #6.
#7 Working through her daily good-bye routine: hug, kiss, blow a kiss, I love you in sign language, a wave, a made-up sign language hand gesture for Have a good day (it's basically the letter Q), and repeat. She does the same thing at bed time, though somewhat recently edited out the fish-face and Eskimo kisses.

Yeah, we love this girl a lot.
