Last Week and hot flashes.

Last week we had GrandMia visit us from Montana. We so enjoyed having her stay with us!
GrandMia helped us plant some beautiful spring flowers in our "new" planter. The girls really got involved, and she taught them how complete each step on their own.
We have enjoyed their beauty every time we leave and return to our little house. The girls love to remind me of their vast gardening knowledge while we water them each morning. The roots like to grow straight, Mama.
GrandMia also went with us to the park (many, many times).
Big Sister showed off her mad skills on the monkey bars.
GrandMia introduced her grandgirls to some new foods, like peanut butter and banana sandwiches!
How is it my children never eat it when I suggest it? But if GrandMia does... well, then it must be good. ;-) Lots of stories, snuggles, board games and fun.
And as luck would have it, GrandMia was present for Big Sister loosing her 2nd top tooth!
It is now apparent that I am a completely horrible person, and did not get enough pictures of GrandMia with her grandgirls. Is it any consolation that since she left, the girls have each told me at least once daily that they miss GrandMia very much? And that are we for sure going to visit GrandMia and Papa for Christmas?

No? I'm still hateful?

In other news, the weather was God-awful hot last week, i.e. above 82 degrees with zero humidity.
"What dreadful hot weather we have!
It keeps me in a continual state of inelegance."
Jane Austen, letter of September 1796

Home girl has it right. We are mighty thankful the cooler, spring-like weather is back for just a bit longer!
