A little place called Disneyland

**Part One**

Perhaps you've heard of it?

We took our first, like... official, family vacation recently. Just the four of us. Excluding moving cross country (which we've done twice now--soon to be three), we've never taken a trip entirely by ourselves, for ourselves.

It. Was. AWESOME!

I swear, she had sun screen, sunglasses and a hat...
See? Two for three here.
We rode the carousel multiple times. Carousels are fantastic, aren't they?
Meeting the big cheese himself, Mickey Mouse! Our girls were genuinely excited to meet the characters! Though they've seen maybe a third of all Disney movies? Really, they are just shy. That's why they look traumatized in some of the photographs.
Watching Minnie Mouse dance to the dixie band.
In the Princess' Fantasy Faire, where all the princesses congregate.
Hubby and I kept saying to each other, multiple times that weekend, that it was such a well run place. Great attention and effort into everything, right down to the tiniest detail. The princesses were so kind to all little children, our girls, too. If you've been, then you know how special an experience it can be for children. It was a trip we will always look back on with fondness.

More photos to come...
