Lately...

The last few weeks have been a whirlwind. We have really been trying to savor these sweet moments as busyness and big changes come our way.

Here's a little peek into our life lately...

They were pretending to be firefighters. Little Sis is holding the kitten they rescued from the house.

Fresh tomato and basil from the garden! And after 5 years of trial and error, I do declare my bread machine pizza dough to have bested The Joy of Cooking's recipe. It's consistently more successful.

Who doesn't love sidewalk chalk and homemade smoothie-pops?Finished up swim lessons! The girls are much more confident in the water, and we're thrilled with their basic knowledge of water safety and technical ability. It was a small, local business run in a backyard pool by a family of certified instructors; did I mention that? We'll be back next summer!I think their favorite part was discovering they could look at each other underwater with their goggles on!

Bleh. I would rather clean a toilet than fold and put away laundry.

And just like that, our little girl was off to kindergarten.
