And while a certain little girl I know is incredibly excited, we have been taking full advantage of this last week of summer vacation to do whatever we want and send her off with a bang.
Including: swim lessons, wearing pajamas through lunch, not making beds, watching movies with popcorn, skipping quiet times to make Lincoln Log and Lego masterpieces, play board games and Littlest Pet Shop with dress-up and Play Doh, getting dirty at the park, painting darling, little fingernails (gasp!) and ignoring laundry.
Today is Tuesday, and as it's officially our last day of freedom the plan is more of the same. And then some.So, if you'll excuse us, we are off to Cold Stone Creamery for lunch.
