A White Christmas Eve Eve

The day before Christmas Eve, we awoke to a fresh blanket of snow covering most outside surfaces.

The girls were excited to see it!

However, Little Sister physically wanted nothing to do with it. While Big Sister was out back playing with the doggies and making a snow "castle," we were inside trying to dress and persuade Little Sister to join her, but she took so long and put up such a fuss that we did not get a single picture of our elder daughter's enjoyment and creativity.

And all the snow was all melted by lunch time. But the whole snow experience called for a round of cocoa and Christmas cookies!
Maybe it'll snow again?
