Don't Rain On Our Parade!

We always enjoy seeing Eric and his fellow bandmates in action.  Today was no different, despite the yucky forecast.  The last few days took were cold and wet, too, which is pretty much our least favorite weather combination.  And after three straight days of being stuck indoors, enough was enough!  That's why snow pants were invented, right?  Off to the parade!  

Parade Season

We attended two parades the first Saturday of October, in Rineyville and Hodgsonville, KY. These were great little towns with a lot of spirit! Did you know Hodgsonville, KY is the birthplace of Abraham Lincoln?! They also have an amazing fudge shop in their quaint downtown district! Hannah had never been allowed to 'catch' the candy being thrown at the parades before, so she was in heaven. And Amelia just loved running around, dancing, and getting dirty. We all enjoyed seeing the 113th Army Band in action, too. It was a fun day!
