their last day of school

The girls had their last day of school yesterday. Sigh.

 

I am excited to have both my girls all to myself for a couple months.

 

I am not excited that they are growing up too fast, right before my very eyes. Little Sister's birthday fell on the very last day of school. Proof I have absolutely no say whatsoever in their getting older.

They were both fortunate to have some fabulous teachers this year, with which they made some amazing academic strides.

Big Sister earned over 900 RC points and read over 40 Caldecott books this school year! We are quite proud of our little book worm.

 

And they made some terrific friends this year, too. We look forward to many summer movies, popsicles, trips to the swimming pool & splash pad with them!

It's been a great year.
