We're getting there...

We have every box unpacked, and are in that strange limbo of hanging pictures and curtains, and deciding where everything goes. This is currently difficult as we decided to do a little painting, as it's allowed, but are not done yet with the kitchen and living room. Also, with my habit of rearranging furniture and decor, in all likelihood, this phase will last the duration of our time here.

We almost have the internet hooked up to the computer; we're {{this close}} to being able to upload any/all photos taken in the last 4 weeks. Our girls are still as photogenic as ever, don't you worry.

Hubby is back to work full-time, and is pretty busy already, but really liking his new surroundings. The girls and I are enjoying a new routine here, complete with long stretches of playtime at the super awesome playground right across the street from our place, swimming at the local pool, and hitting up our fabulous public library for large stacks of books and story times. Both girls are now the (incredibly) proud owners of their very own library cards. We are eager to get involved in swim lessons, gymnastics, ballet and/or guitar; whichever is available first. I am getting reacquainted with yard work and mosquitoes, but the absolute lush green and frequent rainfall makes it worthwhile.
