A week worth of randomness

• We just discovered these.

They are evil. How evil are they, you ask?

Really evil. Like so evil, that you would say it was ee-vuhl, like it's the froo-its of the de-vuhl. Ee-vuhl. I wouldn't be surprised to discover they added an addictive chemical in this candy that makes you crave it fortnightly.

• Good thing I've been spending extra time with my personal trainer, Jillian.

She's not gentle. And sometimes I'm pretty sure your body isn't supposed to be doing what she's doing as much or as fast or with cheesy affirmations, so I cuss her in my head. But the brutal keister kicking lasts only 20 minutes, and it hurts so good.

• Hubby and the Higher Ground Brass Band have a big gig coming up: the Chandler Jazz Festival. If you're in the area and wish to join us, we'll be parking it on a picnic blanket with some lunch and rocking our fan club status. Lil Sis is always singing; when she's not belting out a Christmas carol, she is making up her own lyrics to her favorite tunes. Such a fun kid!
