Making Pizza

Big Sister recently drew a picture of her and Grandma making pizza together. As she was telling me about it, I was smiling so hard it almost hurt.



First of all, she sounded out the sentence, "Grandma making pizza," all by herself. Too cute.

Then, the squares in the upper right hand corner... kitchen cabinets. Did you notice how they actually look like kitchen cabinets?!

The red shapes are mushrooms, because 'Grandma likes mushrooms on her pizza, but I don't.' Girl after my own heart.

And did you see the salt and pepper shakers?! This kid has an eye for detail! I certainly never taught her how to draw kitchen cabinets or salt and pepper shakers.
