Camp Montana

The girls and I had a fabulous time!

The two weeks flew by pretty fast, and except for some minor separation anxiety from Daddy, as well as a ginormous (the girls' favorite new word) snow storm that disrupted our connecting flight home... which turned it into a 6 hour layover with the possible extension to a 4 day layover without hotel reimbursement... OMG, have you ever cried in the airport in front of the customer service rep. and a line full of very, very angry people?? Um.... wait, where was I?

Oh, yes. Fabulous time had by all at Camp Montana! I assure you! We filled our days with outdoor play in a variety of weather, trips to the public library for craft/story time, s'mores 'round the camp fire, walks to the park for sand time, soccer and hide-n-seek, apple crisp, lots of reading, lots of coloring, a St. Patrick's Day parade, a visit to Dr. Papa's office and the art museum, etc, ETC.

My parents are gracious hosts and always go above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and fun. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

And, because my kids are too stinkin' cute, here are a cajillion pictures of them from our trip.

The girls love their Papa and GrandMia, and the feeling is pretty darn mutual. There was a lot of quality time going on!

We took turns throwing handfuls of snow in the air and shouting, "It's snowing!"

I heart pink rain boots....

Our snow girl* we built together

Hope your spring break was fun, fabulous and free from airport drama!
