Belated Anniversary

We hadn't taken a photograph of ourselves, just US, in a long time. And then I accidently deleted the picture we took of us on our anniversary back on September 24, 2008. So as we were sitting on the couch Monday night after the girls had gone to bed, talking about life, politics, the weekly dinner menu, my growing appreciation for the game of football (much to Eric's delight!) and our strong desire to one day add to the family in the form of a brown leather recliner chair, we snapped this. It's no Annie Leibowitz, but you get the idea.
Here's to four years of marriage, friendship, partnership, parenthood. Sometimes its incandescently happy and sometimes its work, but it's always us and we love each other. Here's to the next four years, and the next forty years after that.
