Dear Family and Friends,
It's been a great and busy new year for us thus far! The first day back from holiday break Eric began his WLC, or Warrior Leadership Course, a five week program for sergeants. It furthers their education in leadership skills, navigation and safety, procedural duties as a sergeant/soldier, military customs and pride, etc. Eric is delighted to be devoting 16 hours a day, 6 days a week to this program... sort of... We adopted a 5 month old puppy named Walter, a Jack Russell terrier. He is the perfect addition to our energetic and silly home. Hannah turned three on the 21st of January. She celebrated her special day with a birthday breakfast and presents, and helped Mommy make a chocolate cake with pink strawberry frosting for dessert. We can hardly believe our Hannah is getting so big. She is such a silly, sweet and smart little lady, and we are so proud of her. Her big birthday gift from Mommy and Daddy is dance lessons, which will begin mid-February. She's very excited to "make ballet!" Amelia, too, is growing quickly. She recently sprouted two bottom teeth! The better to eat crumbs off Daddy's plate with. Other favorite pastimes including crawling under the coffee table and bumping her head, attempting to stand using the coffee table and bumping her head, trying to dig in the soil of Mommy's houseplants, and getting into the dog toy basket and chewing on his toys. Amelia has given us a whole new meaning of 'baby proofing!'
Well, that sums up the previous month! We look forward to keeping our loved ones better updated through this nifty site.
Love to you all!

Look at those beautiful, happy, little girls. Hannah is such a big girl now at 3. And little Amy has the brightest, most beautiful smile! I can hardly wait to get them both on my lap and give them lots of hugs and kisses.
